THE RED ORPINGTON BANTAM

I first saw this Dutch Red cockerel in 2009 and after a long wait have managed to buy him.

To my knowledge there are no hens in this country of any quality so I will put him across Black hens and then continue to back cross to Red untill the colour becomes established.

By the use of Black over red it will make sure that that the Red continues to maintain a dark rich colour rather that becoming washed out and moving more towards Buff.
